The extravagance of 1770 rococo Paris meets the eclecticism of 2009 underground New York nightlife.
Think Amadeus, Marie Antoinette, the Marquis de Sade, etc… but with a thoroughly modern twist.
This 4th installment of the Party will feature burlesque, aerialism, spectacles, hula hoop acrobatics, magic, juggling, baroque “makeovers”, fortune telling, live art, and live techno baroque and rococo rock music.

My piece Sea Nymphs opened the second half of Adam Dugas’ Chaos and Candy. I am lucky to have worked with such amazing dancers, an aerialist and a great choreographer in NYC.

I will play a dance piece I composed called Nymphs-this is an amazing show!!!
Set sail for a psychedelic spectacular with the 7th annual installment of CHAOS & CANDY, the seasonal extravaganza from Adam Dugas. The S.S. St. Nicholas is embarking on a Brazilian-bound holiday cruise, but a sea-change is in store because the vessel is loaded with explosive surprises! A dynamite cast of singers and dancers, backed by a rock orchestra, delivers this story of terrorists in love and undersea antics. It’s a full fathom fiesta. Don’t turn your back on the sea!
I was on set for the grand finale “Evicted” for the HBO series Flight of the Conchords to help with all things harp. I taught David how to look like he was playing, tuned the harp, helped with the dialog to make sure the actors had their facts correct and was a music tech. Unfortunately they opted for a generic music library for the actual music. The picture is on Set while Mel’s husband David does his harp moves.
Dueling Harps features singers Adam Dugas and Ann Magnuson with harpists Alexander Rannie and Mia Theodoratus. We perform some of the greatest hits of the last 400 years, from Henry Purcell and Handel to Pink Floyd and Donna Summer.
Los Angeles performances included the Steve Allen theater (2007) and REDCAT (2008) with East Coast and New York City performances planned for 2009.
34 W. 22nd Street, New York City WEDNESDAY, JULY 23, 2008 and WEDNESDAY, JULY 30, 2008 THURSDAY, OCTOBER 9, 2008
