I am honored to be playing in Ray Chew’s orchestra for a Night of Inspiration! It is a program that celebrates the uplifting power of gospel music through vocal and spoken-word performances presented by a star-studded lineup of artists. I even have a moment of harp with a beautiful solo in Ray Chew’s original piece Inspiration. This concert is one of the reasons to live in NYC!
I am pleased that the Old Maids in the Garret will be playing a couple of tunes for us. Also, let’s do a couple of rounds of Sally Gardens, Chanter (to improvise with!) and maybe another tune? Any suggestions of a favorite?
Swing the Teapot is on the Train – Hempstead – Penn Station – Direction: Hempstead line of the Long Island Railroad. It is about a 3 minute walk from the station.
Every first and third Sunday I will be at Swing the Teapot, 6 Verbena Ave, Floral Park , NY 11001 playing a set of Irish tunes and inviting harpist to either play some tunes or join me. This Sunday is going to be amazing because Erin Hill is joining me! We start at around 4 and play until around 6. Been working on getting She Moves Through the Faire into a groove and have a new march!
Artists and nerds are two of my fav kinds of people! This event promises to be fantastic and is organized by 1938media.com which is a wonderfully funny site that does commentary on all things tech, social media and just how silly people become when they are too serious.
The venue is stunning! It is a turn of the century theater in the Millennium Broadway Hotel on Broadway in NYC. The guy who built it died on the Titanic. Besides, after this it is rumored that the Hudson Theater will become part of the Le Cirque franchise. Be there and enjoy!

I will be playing a short set at the Westerleigh Folk Festival! A great line up in a totally beautiful park. I have two new Irish style compositions and will probably grab a uke player or two to help me sing about monkeys.
